Video production costs and planning in Bangladesh
Production cost is decided in planning, not on the shoot day.
What actually moves the number
Every quote in Dhaka is built from the same variables. Understanding which ones you control is the difference between a proposal you can negotiate and one you can only accept or refuse.
- 01Shoot days — the single largest multiplier, because crew, kit and location all scale with it.
- 02Locations — every move costs setup time, and setup time costs a shoot day.
- 03Talent — professional talent, usage rights and duration of licence.
- 04Post — edit rounds, motion graphics, sound design, subtitling and version count.
- 05Versions — a 60-second film cut to nine formats is a post cost, not a shoot cost.
Planning checklist before you request a quote
Bring these eight answers to the first conversation and a serious production partner can quote inside a week.
- 01The business objective the film has to move.
- 02Where the film runs, and in which aspect ratios.
- 03The number of final deliverables, including cutdowns.
- 04Whether talent is required, and for how long.
- 05Locations available to you at no cost.
- 06The approval chain and how many rounds it implies.
- 07The date the work must be live.
- 08The budget range — a range is enough.
The direct answer on budget
For most brands the useful question is not what a video costs, but what a production day yields. A planned single-location day with a defined shot list routinely produces a hero film, two to four cutdowns and fifteen to thirty vertical assets.
Quoted per asset, that day is almost always cheaper than three unplanned shoots across a quarter.
